
BIOGRAPHY
Yana Subbotina started her professional music education at the music college of the Moscow State Institute of Music named after A. Shnitke where from she graduated in 2002 (class of O.Musorin). She then completed her education in 2006 at the Russian Gnessins Academy of Music (class of V.Nosina). During her studies Yana Subbotina became a laureat of various international competitions. In 1999 she won the competition of Rubinshtein in Paris and in 2000 she recieved a grand-prix at the vocal competition in Lisbon together with Irina Samoilova(soprano).
Philipp Subbotin
Philipp Subbotin graduated from the Russian Gnessins Academy of Music in 2006(class of V.Nosina) He then continued his studies at the Academy of Music of Arts in Prague and graduated in 2009 with a master degree in Arts (class legendary Czech pianist of XXth century I. Moravec) In 2001 Philipp Subbotin won 1st prize of the International Competition in Vicence(Italy).
Duo Eleganza
Yana Subbotina and Philipp Subbtotin created a piano duet DUO ELEGANZA in 2002.
They started with the performance of Mozart’s concert for two pianos with the orchestra Cantus Firmus.The performance took place at the concert hall of the Music College of Gnessin “Gnessinskiy on Povarskaya street“.

Philipp Subbotin graduated from the Russian Gnessins Academy of Music in 2006(class of V.Nosina) He then continued his studies at the Academy of Music of Arts in Prague and graduated in 2009 with a master degree in Arts (class legendary Czech pianist of XXth century I. Moravec) In 2001 Philipp Subbotin won 1st prize of the International Competition in Vicence(Italy).
Since then Duo Eleganza performed in various concert halls in Europe. Pianists performed in different concert halls in Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Denmark and Russia.
In 2010-2015 the pianists created a set of concert projects at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Prague which received great appreciation from the audience. Among them „Classical music for friends“,“Classical music for children“,“Russian tuesdays in Prague“, “Recitals in Crystal Hall” .
Moreover, the musicians actively participated in the creation of the first International Music Festival “Piano seasons in Prague“ which was opened in June 2011 and the second music festival in the memory of F.Liszt was held with success in Budapest in october 2011.
Musicians created there Art Duo Music Festival in different European capitals: International Music Festival in memory of J.Haydn in Vienna (2012), International Music Festival in memory of S. Rachmaninov in Madrid (2013), International Music Festival in memory of A. Rubinstein in Rome (2014), Music seasons in Copenhagen (2014), International Music Festival in memory of P.I. Tchaikovsky in Berlin (2015), International Art Duo Music Festival and Competition in memory of W.A.Mozart in Gyor (2016).
Duo Eleganza played in 2016 Prague (Atrium, RCC), Gyor (Hungary, Music University), Moscow (Russia, Scriabin Museum), Palanga (Lithuania, Ciurlinos Festival), Poitiers (France, At Festivl in Castles La Lande & La Motte), Sant pere de Rodes (Spain, Sant Pere), Philharmonic societies (Irkutsk, Chita, Magnitogorsk, Ufa, Orenburg), Warsaw (Poland at Master Competition)
